The safest way to drink water is to drink beer. This was the case during medieval times, when English rivers were open cesspits, so water had to be made safe. ALL HAIL THE ALE!
We start at a small English Brewery for an educational tasting tour before heading on to the artisan Cotswolds Gin and Whiskey Distillery to discover another British favourite experiencing a resurgence, including lunch in a Cotswold pub.
We’ll then head to the Three Choirs Vineyard for a final tasting of some superb English wines. Luckily, we overnight at the vineyard after dinner in the excellent restaurant.
Our tour back to London can include a (leisurely start) whistle stop Cotswolds tour or a visit into Bath and Castle Combe.
